Configure a template after installation
Map a template's portal-specific fields—such as forms, owners, properties, stages and timing—to your own HubSpot account before publishing.
Review the required settings
Open the installed workflow and work through its trigger and actions.
Templates can include values that cannot be universal across HubSpot portals. Kanopee therefore expects you to select the appropriate values for your account.
Pay particular attention to any validation message shown in the editor. A template should not be assumed to be ready to publish simply because its graph is already built.
Configure HubSpot-specific values
Depending on the template, you may need to configure:
- a HubSpot form
- a property and one or more property values
- a Deal or Ticket pipeline and stage
- an owner, owner pool or HubSpot team
- a manager or fallback owner
- a static list
- task copy or ownership; and
- delay or schedule timing.
These values come from the HubSpot portal connected to the active Kanopee account.
Sync if a value is missing
Templates use Kanopee's synced HubSpot metadata.
If you recently created a property, form, owner, team, pipeline stage or list, run Sync Kanopee with HubSpot and return to the workflow.
If the value is still missing after a successful sync, check that it exists in the connected portal and is usable. Reconnect HubSpot where permissions may need refreshing.
Resolve validation and publish
Save your configuration, then choose Review & publish.
Kanopee can block publishing when a required value is missing, HubSpot metadata is stale, a selected property is not writable, or the workflow uses a feature that is not available on the current plan.
Resolve the messages, save again if necessary, and publish the completed workflow.
