Use the workflow dashboard

The dashboard is the main place to find workflows, see recent run activity, create new workflows, and manage workflow status.

Understand the workflow list

The workflow dashboard is your main overview of Kanopee automations.

From here you can open a workflow, see its current lifecycle state, and review summary activity such as runs in the last 30 days and the last run time.

If you have no workflows yet, use New workflow to start from a blank Contact, Company, Deal or Ticket workflow or install a template.

Search, filter and sort workflows

When you have multiple workflows, the dashboard can help you find the one you need using:

  • search
  • object filters
  • status filters; and
  • sorting.

Object filters are useful when you want to see only Contact, Company, Deal or Ticket workflows. Status filters help separate active workflows from drafts or inactive workflows.

Manage an individual workflow

The dashboard lets you open a workflow for editing and perform lifecycle actions such as turning workflows on or off.

Deleting a workflow removes it from normal active use and turns off the bindings, schedules and queued work associated with that workflow.

If you only want to stop a workflow temporarily, turn it off instead of deleting it.

Use bulk actions

The dashboard supports multi-select management for common workflow operations.

Use bulk actions when you need to:

  • turn several workflows on
  • turn several workflows off; or
  • remove several workflows.

Before activating workflows in bulk, remember that each workflow must still satisfy its own validation and plan requirements.

Use recent run information

The dashboard exposes summary run information, including runs in the last 30 days and the last run time.

For record-level history, open the workflow and use its Enrollment tab. Kanopee stores deeper runtime information internally, but the current customer UI is not a full step-by-step log viewer.

If you expected a workflow to run and see no enrollment, use the workflow troubleshooting article rather than relying only on the dashboard count.
