Property, lifecycle, status and stage change triggers

Choose the change you want to watch

Kanopee supports a general Property value changed trigger for Contacts, Companies, Deals and Tickets.

It also provides dedicated change triggers for common HubSpot fields:

• Lifecycle stage — Contacts and Companies
• Lead status — Contacts
• Deal stage — Deals; and
• Ticket stage — Tickets.

The dedicated triggers use the corresponding HubSpot property but present the intent more clearly in the editor.

Choose the operator and value

After choosing the property, configure the comparison that should match.

Examples include:

• text comparisons such as equals, contains, starts with or ends with
• choice comparisons such as is any of or is none of
• number comparisons such as greater than, less than or between
• date comparisons such as before, after, on or between
• boolean checks; and
• is known / is unknown checks.

Kanopee derives the available operators from the synced HubSpot property metadata.

When the trigger fires

A change trigger is event-driven.

For example, if a Deal is already in a particular stage before you publish the workflow, publishing the workflow does not by itself create a new stage-change event for that Deal.

The workflow should be active before the relevant HubSpot change happens.

Using custom properties

If a custom property is missing from the editor, sync Kanopee with HubSpot.

If the property appears and the workflow publishes but change events still do not produce expected enrollments, confirm the workflow is active and the change happened after publication. Some property-event coverage depends on the HubSpot app configuration, so persistent issues may require support investigation.

Avoid repeatedly recreating the workflow before checking sync, connection and event timing first.

Deal and Ticket stages

For Deal stage changed and Ticket stage changed, choose values from the connected portal's synced pipeline and stage configuration.

If a pipeline or stage was added, renamed, removed or archived after the last sync, refresh Kanopee's HubSpot metadata and review the trigger before publishing again.
